How to Break Stereotypes and Create a Real Impact on Local Government

On 14 August 2026, within the framework of the YALA (BSB01271) project, Project Expert Shalva Chkadua held a working meeting with young people on the topic “Youth Engagement in Regional Development.”

The meeting focused on how to break stereotypes related to youth engagement and create a real impact on local government.

Participants discussed the role of young people in regional development, the importance of their participation in local decision-making processes, support for youth initiatives, and opportunities for effective cooperation with local government.

The meeting provided an opportunity for young people to exchange views and ideas and to explore ways of strengthening their active participation in local development processes.
