On June 23-24, a national workshop was held in Telavi within the framework of the project “Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)” funded by the European Commission.

Representatives from 10 Georgian universities, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, National Center For Educational Quality Enhancement and Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation participated in the meeting.

The project is coordinated by Ilia State University.

The policy documents of necessary resources of university research integrity and ethics, establishment of Research Integrity and Ethics Council and creation/improvement of services were discussed during the meeting.
