An international meeting of the ETHICS Consortium, a project funded by the European Commission, “Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities,” was held at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic.

The meetings held on September 3-4 were attended by Telavi State University employees, project manager Maka Kochauri, head of the university Academic Integrity and Student Consulting Center Nino Kakhashvili and project trainer Sophio Arsenishvili.

The consortium members presented detailed reports on the fulfilled tasks. They also discussed ongoing processes and activities that will be implemented within the framework of the project.

The main goal of the project is to improve the existing mechanisms, procedures, and services in the field of research ethics and integrity at Georgian universities.

The project is coordinated by Ilia State University.
