PROVE Project Study Visit Successfully Held in Greece

The PROVE – Promoting Values Education in South Caucasus Higher Education Institutions project consortium successfully conducted a study visit and consortium meeting in Greece from 8–13 March 2026, hosted by the University of Western Macedonia.

The visit brought together project partners from Europe and the South Caucasus to review project progress, strengthen cooperation, and enhance competencies in values-based education. During the consortium meetings, partners presented updates related to midterm implementation, discussed dissemination and quality assurance processes, and planned upcoming project activities for 2026.

A key highlight of the programme was a series of trainings dedicated to the Values and Knowledge Education (VaKE) methodology. Participants explored innovative teaching approaches, including the use of artificial intelligence in developing learning scenarios and assessment practices within values education. Partners also shared practical experiences of implementing VaKE in university courses.

The programme included a classroom observation at the University of Western Macedonia and a study visit to the Intercultural School of Evosmos-Kordelio in Thessaloniki, offering valuable insights into intercultural and inclusive education practices.

The study visit strengthened collaboration among partners and contributed significantly to advancing innovative and value-oriented teaching in higher education.

The project PROVE coordinator is Telavi State University.
