The second dissemination conference of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) project “Developing the Green Tourism Concept through Education” (ENRICHER Hubs) was held at the State University of Moldova (MSU) in Chișinău, Moldova.

Representatives of Iakob Gogebashvili Telavi State University participated in the event alongside delegates from other Georgian partner universities.

The conference served as an important platform for academics, international partners, and representatives of the public and private sectors to discuss contemporary approaches to green tourism development, principles of sustainable development, the role of education in transforming the tourism sector, and the achievements of the ENRICHER Hubs project to date.

Participants exchanged experiences, best practices, and innovative approaches aimed at strengthening environmental responsibility and promoting sustainable tourism development at both regional and international levels.

Particular attention was given to the Synergy Projects Session, which focused on fostering collaboration among international initiatives and encouraging the exchange of knowledge and best practices. During this session, Tamar Aslanishvili, Head of the Internationalization and Public Affairs Office at Telavi State University, presented the Erasmus+ CBHE project “GastroTour”, coordinated by Telavi State University. The Georgian consortium includes Caucasus University and Akaki Tsereteli State University, while the international partnership is strengthened through the participation of higher education institutions from South Africa.

The Synergy Session proved to be a valuable platform for establishing links between projects with related objectives, identifying new opportunities for cooperation, and enhancing the sustainability and long-term impact of project results. Such exchanges contribute significantly to the development of innovative educational approaches and the promotion of international academic collaboration.

Telavi State University remains actively engaged in international projects and continues to support the advancement of the green economy, sustainable tourism, and international cooperation through research, education, and partnership initiatives.
